Transfer Students

Saint Katherine College admits transfer students for the fall term only. We require a completed application, three academic letters of recommendation, an official transcript from all colleges or universities attended, and descriptions of all completed college-level courses. A campus or telephone interview is required. Every application, including transfer credits, is carefully reviewed and considered for admission to the sophomore or junior classes.

Academic Preparation

The following is a list of the Saint Katherine College core curriculum, taken by all Saint Katherine College students during their first year. It is expected that transfer students will have had exposure to mathematics and science courses on a comparable level prior to entry to the College. There are no specific topics expected to have been covered in humanities and social science classes, although theology electives may be credited towards the degree. Any of the following first year courses that have not been covered by incoming transfer students must be taken upon matriculation to Saint Katherine College.

Intersegmental General Education Transfer Curriculum (IGETC) program credits earned with a grade of B or higher might be used to fulfill some lower-division general education requirements encompassed in the core integration courses.

Standardized Test Requirements

Transfer applicants are not required to submit ACT or SAT scores.
